PremierCredit now offers investment opportunities in loans from Zambia under the Regulatory Sandbox of The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Zambia.
LUSAKA, December 7th – PremierCredit is delighted to announce that its Peer to Peer lending platform is now live and offering investments in pre-vetted secured loans with attractive returns. Investments start from as low as ZMW500.
The SEC launched the Regulatory sandbox to protect investors and promote development of the local capital market. The Regulatory sandbox is a tailored regulatory environment for conducting limited scale, live tests of innovative products, solutions and services. The Regulatory Sandbox provides an evidence-based tool for fostering innovation while allowing the Authority to remain vigilant to investor protection, financial stability and integrity risks.
Since 2019 PremierCredit has been offering micro loans in Zambia, supporting local entrepreneurs and small scale traders, many of whom are women, increasing their access to capital and the ability to grow their businesses.
